I tried this initially. Just doesn't seem like I get a consistent result yet -- for example, if you google "77 pounds", it guesses that you're looking to convert and gives you a proper result - but if you google "35 kilograms", it doesn't automatically give you a converted result.
I'm a big fan of doing this for time zones too. "Time in Hong Kong", "Temperature in Frankfurt", etc.
