Impersonal ads
I just realized that I mainly communicate with my best friends -- people scattered all over the world -- through blogging. We hardly ever talk on the phone and the quantity of our emails has fallen precipitously since blogging became all the rage.
So... what's everyone up to this weekend?

Reason's that our email contact has fallen:
1. Time difference--lame excuse I know, but we used to have a 5 minute turn around on emails. Now, when you're writing, it's like 8 AM here....
2. We're getting older, gaining responsibility at work, and therefore, loosing the ability to fire off a quick email to our mates around the world.
3. One of us has become incredibly boring. His idea of fun is hitting up Home Depot on a Friday night. He drinks barley grains to stay healthy, and he lacks an understanding of anything related to pop culture. He is me.
Oh, and I have a nice little weekend planned. Today, I am writing a paper on gender development across socio-economic status. Tonight, I'll probably clean out the garage. Tomorrow, church bright and early, a nice little jog, maybe work on the paper some more....I have zero plans to watch the super bowl.

there will be a revival brad. you're acclimating now but these things are cyclical. the brad of 2010 may well be brethren to the brad of 2000.
